The entire Reebok stadium has recently had a brand new IP based CCTV system installed to help protect players, assisting staff and fans from any criminal activity.
The stadium has recieved 40 IP CCTV cameras, the latest technology in CCTV surveillance that allows for a much more powerful network of cameras.
The new CCTV system has not only increased security for all involved on match days but the network can now operate whilst the popular near by De Vere Whites Hotel continues business throughout the working week.
Security manager at the stadium stated the new network of CCTV cameras will not only capture any anti-social or criminal events but deter people from acting inappropiately in the first place.
In only a matter of weeks, the IP CCTV cameras have already captured several incidents in areas that in the past would be “out of reach” and have played a vital role in resolving these security issues.
The club wish to further expand the business CCTV system by adding another 60 cameras, increasing the total to 100 as well as furthering the current network infrastructure and focusing on energy conservation by integrating building management services into the network.
