A large business based in London recently saw great success with it’s new installation of a business CCTV system.
The retail store has been open 6 months and after a spate of break-ins and robberies the store invested in a 12 camera CCTV system. 9 of the CCTV cameras were installed on the salesfloor and the other 3 monitored staff only areas.
The continual break-ins were thought to be by an organised gang knowing full well of the stores lacking security. Only 10 days after the business CCTV system was installed another store break-in occured. During night time hours, three men broke into the rear of the building and moved to the salesfloor to begin stealing high value goods.
Within only a few minutes of being in the building the three men were clearly recorded on 6 of the cameras, providing more than neccessary evidence to trace the theives.
Evidence from the business CCTV system was backed up and handed to the police whom stated the footage was crystal clear and the numerous angles of the men’s faces would make for excellent cross examination with evidence from other crimes in an attempt to track down these men.
