After a year, four CCTV cameras installed in the town of Devizes have had great success.
The CCTV cameras, installed on the 1st of November last year, have caused a dramatic decrease in shop windows being broken and have assisted in many arrests.
Devizes town council funded the installation and have declared the CCTV cameras to be a definite success with great support from the community.
The four camera CCTV network has seen such great success that the town received funding for another four cameras to be installed on the network.
The control centre will undergo a few enhancements with more manpower and better technology to protect local businesses with CCTV cameras.
