One of the most anticipated stores of 2008, Banana republic has been fitted with a 29 CCTV camera system.
The upmarket trading chain owned by GAP, is based in London’s Regent Street. The new system has a 100% floor coverage of the 18,050 square foot retail floor. An alarm system whereby colleagues can alert upper management of anti-social instances via a button under the cash desk has also been fitted.
The manager of the store is pleased with the new system and stated the surveillance technology needed to be high specification to meet the rest of the stores presentation.
