It’s half-year financial report shows a 48% increase in product revenue to £9.18m and an increase of 269% for operating profit, ending 31st January 2008.

High Vandalism Area Calls For CCTV

Oxcliff and Colescliffe Road has been the recent target for youth vandalism, specifically the block of flats next to the junction.

Although attempts have been made to clean up the area things have become worse says Cllr Phil McDonald, calling for CCTV in the area.

CCTV Preventing Fly-Tipping

Calderdale Council has seen a significant number of fly-tippers in the Halifax and Calderdale area, so much so they feel the next step in its fight against the crime is to setup CCTV surveillance in high offence areas.

Bike Theft CCTV Device Wins Award

A University of Plymouth police officer recently invented a device to prevent the increasing number of bike thefts on campus.

The device, called, WASP (Wireless Asset Security Protection) has won an award from the Home Office in its technology category.
